SYNOPSIS

Eve takes an intense personal dislike to an arrogant Army officer and becomes convinced he is guilty of murdering a woman whose body was found during an exercise. Undeterred by minor details like a complete absence of proof, she jeopardises her career by confronting him in the presence of witnesses and blurting out her suspicions. Fortunately, Jake is on hand to help solve the case with another of his penetrating insights into the criminal mind. Former Coronation Street cast member Bill Ward (Charlie Stubbs) guests.
