Inspector George Gently: Gently Among Friends

SYNOPSIS

The detective is called out when a body is found on a rubbish pile under the Tyne Bridge. It initially looks like suicide, but evidence reveals the victim was dead before he landed. The search begins to uncover his identity, with just a pawnbroker's receipt, a note with a phone number for one Gwendolyn Howard and a betting slip in the deceased's pocket.
