SYNOPSIS

Part one of two. Lonely bachelor Stuart Grady befriends a wayward teenager, and together they embark on a doomed relationship culminating in murder. Meanwhile, Penhaligon permits herself the grim satisfaction of turning up at Beck's funeral, determined to see him six feet under, and Fitz is left holding the baby as Judith rebels. Robbie Coltrane, Barbara Flynn and Geraldine Somerville star in the acclaimed drama.
