SYNOPSIS

A serious assault leads the police to foil an attempt to steal antiques from Ashfordly Hall, and Vernon goes all-out to persuade a wealthy woman to make a charitable contribution toward his donkey sanctuary - but the discovery that there is already one in the area forces him to change his plans.
