SYNOPSIS

Christopher becomes the subject of malicious rumours - but as the vicious gossip spreads, a tragedy occurs. Valentine moves to London, and Sylvia remains troubled by news of the war, though she finds a welcome distraction in a new admirer. Meanwhile, Edith and Macmaster make plans to start a new life together. Tom Stoppard's adaptation of Ford Madox Ford's novels, starring Benedict Cumberbatch.
