SYNOPSIS

Ric swings by Holby to tell his colleagues he is leaving - he is heading to Las Vegas to begin a new job in the pharmaceuticals industry. But when his expertise is required on an emergency patient, the consultant quickly finds himself drawn back in. Can he really bring himself to leave the hospital behind? Jac becomes embroiled in a family crisis, so Jonny appeals to her better nature, desperately hoping his friend will get into the festive spirit for once, while Sacha delays going home when his mother visits, leaving Chrissie to deal with the chaos of Christmas alone. Featuring a guest appearance from former Coronation Street star John Savident (Fred Elliott).
