SYNOPSIS

Bravo’s first original scripted series, "Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce," returns for season two as self-help writer Abby McCarthy (Lisa Edelstein) continues to adjust to being single once again in her 40s. Recently hired to be the “face of divorce” for a chic lifestyle website, Abby raves about the benefits of divorce to her readers, while hiding her complicated relationship with her estranged husband, Jake (Paul Adelstein). Meanwhile, her optimistic approach to divorce draws the ire of Barbara (Retta), a rival editor at the website who thinks Abby is ignoring many of the harsh realities of divorce. Torn between her personal life and her public persona, Abby must decide whether to salvage her marriage or tread a new path as a single woman. No matter what happens, she can always count on her devoted girlfriends for advice and support.
