SYNOPSIS

Robert Timmins has a gift for Alf that could change his future, and PC Patterson faces competition from an unlikely rival at the Harvest Festival. Meanwhile, the constable's wife takes to her bed and gives her husband permission to seek a new companion when she dies, something he has no intention of doing - until he meets a damsel in distress.
