SYNOPSIS

The hugely popular, light-hearted murder-mystery series stars Dick Van Dyke as Dr. Mark Sloan, the good-natured and unconventional physician who also works as a consultant for the police department. Caring, compassionate and sometimes zany, Sloan's passion for crime-solving provides a healthy mix of medicine and classic 'whodunit' suspense. Working alongside Sloan are his police investigator son Steve played by Dick Van Dyke's real-life son, Barry Van Dyke and young doctor Jesse Travis.
