Danas je obilježavaju težnje za separatizmom i jezične podjele. Odražava li se to u belgijskoj književnosti u glasu pisaca koji stvaraju na različitim jezicima? Četvero belgijskih književnika pomoći će nam da to otkrijemo. Vode nas od obale Sjevernog mora do čeličana u Liègeu i Antwerpena, dijamantnog središta svijeta. Unatoč svim podjelama, zajednička im je želja za otvaranjem dijaloga i planiranjem zajedničke budućnosti njihove zemlje.
