SYNOPSIS

The former city commissioner Sonja Schwarz has barely settled in in the South Tyrolean wine region when things get bumpy: the corpse of a girl who disappeared ten years ago appears and of all people, her husband Thomas is suspected of murder. Determined to relentlessly solve the case, she wants to prove its innocence despite incriminating evidence. But the combative "Mrs. Commissario" is on her own: Not only her colleague Jonas Kerschbaumer, but also the new supervisor Matteo Zanchetti considers him the main suspect. Nevertheless, Sonja courageously targets the powerful local politician Stefan Keller, who was also in contact with the girl at the time. Her unauthorized investigations and the Capo's feelings towards her ensure that there is a great crunch in the newly formed criminal investigation team. Unfortunately, there is little time left to get used to each other, because there is still more to do: The mafia wants a drug delivery that has been lost - and walks over corpses in the process. And only because the casual worker Rainer Gruber believed that he had hit the jackpot with an accidental discovery of two kilograms of cocaine. Instead of finally getting rid of all financial worries, he puts himself and others in danger - even his own family. Because he and his accomplice unsuspectingly offer the hot goods to the seedy noble restaurateur Rossi for sale. However, he maintains excellent contacts with the mafia, which has long since sent a professional to recover it.
