SYNOPSIS

The landscape around the Engadine Lake District boasts superlatives: it already surprises one on the way to it: the Maloja Pass climbs a steep 200 metres in height. 1,800 metres above sea level. Four impressive lakes in the middle of a bombastic mountain world with steeply rising peaks. The highest shipping line in Europe, the largest ibex population in Switzerland, the oldest Swiss stone pines in Graubünden.
