SYNOPSIS

"Górale" (Eng. "The Highlanders") is a documentary series about people whose lives are mostly sacrifices. They know that they can't offend God with their behavior and complaining as they live close to him high in the mountains. Such a life is tempered, teaches humility and respect for nature, to other people, as well as allows us to find the inner self. The prize of life among the mountain tops is a sense of freedom and harmony with nature. As Staszek, one of the characters says: "To live like this you have to be born in the mountains or deserve to live like that."
