SYNOPSIS

Henri Marie Raymond de Toulouse-Lautrec Monfa rodio se 24. studenog 1864. u dvorcu Bosc u Albiju. Imao je sretno djetinjstvo dok zbog bolesti kostiju nije postao invalid za cijeli život.
Njegov životni put najviše je obilježio dolazak na Montmartre. Tada je sav svoj dar posvetio slikanju tog jedinstvenog mikrokozmosa koji je zanimljiv spoj vulgarnosti i nehaja, a on sam je i sudionik i promatrač boemskog života te četvrti.
Za sobom je ostavio bogat opus usprkos kratkom životu opterećenom bolešću.
