SYNOPSIS

After the death of his wife and his re-training for a new occupation as a teacher, the former Army Officer Harald Westphal finally has his life with his two daughters Maria and Floh back on track - or so he thought. Suddenly, the entire family is surprised to learn that the 17-year-old Marla, who is on the verge of graduating from high school, is pregnant. And she is not alone - Harald's girlfriend Sabine is also expecting a baby! When the initial shock subsides, Harald realizes this is his chance to make up for old mistakes. From the moment his daughters were born and throughout most of their young lives, Harald was barely home due to his job in the military.
