SYNOPSIS

Mlada Paige Armstrong (L. Bibb) zaposli se u Kongresu. Ubrzo se upusti u vezu s jednim od nadredenih, Macom McGintyjem (K. Chandler), kojem se svide djevojcina otvorenost i marljivost. Kad u Kolumbiji izbije kriza, predsjednik Bridgewater (P. Fonda) odluci odmah pokrenuti vojnu akciju, no Paigein pretpostavljeni, senator Van Doren (D. Paymer), Mac i nasilni senator Foxworthy (T. Berenger) odluce se suprotstaviti predsjednikovoj odluci. Pri tom su iskoristili Paige.
