SYNOPSIS

U Ferganskom gorju u južnom Kirgistanu nalaze se najveće prirodne šume oraha na svijetu.
Šume se prostiru na području veličine Schwarzwalda, sa stablima od kojih su neka stara i četiristo godina. Danas orasi nisu traženi samo u Kirgistanu nego i daleko preko granica te zemlje - baš kao i orahovina. Plod je temelj života za cijelo tamošnje stanovništvo, ali šumama prijeti ilegalna sječa. Dokumentarni film pripovijeda neobičnu priču o inače skromnom orahu te nudi uvid u jednu stranu i zanimljivu kulturu.
