SYNOPSIS

Writer/director David Kane returns to the territory of his debut feature This Year's Love with this enjoyable London-based romantic comedy. The setting is a salsa club where 30-somethings Jane Horrocks, Olivia Williams and Catherine McCormack become involved with Craig Ferguson, Jimi Mistry and David Morrissey, with varying degrees of success. Cabby Adrian Lester provides transport and some much-needed advice to these romantic no-hopers. There's whimsical humour rather than belly laughs, and good performances, but fans of TV shows such as Cold Feet may find that it's all a little overfamiliar.
