SYNOPSIS

Three British soldiers are caught behind enemy lines in the closing days of the Word War II. Each one has a different approach to soldiering and in order to survive their mission – and make it home alive – they must agree on how to proceed.
Three British soldiers are caught behind enemy lines in the closing days of the Word War II. Hemmings, Bell, and Beckley are the men who wait in a burned-out building for their sergeant's arrival. Hemmings is a pacifist, Bell is the oldest and most experienced, and Beckley is a war-loving sadist. They capture a German officer, Dobie, who tricks them into letting him live, and set out to find their sergeant, only to discover his throat slit. They spend the night in a farm house before heading back to their own lines and get into a skirmish with a German patrol. Beckley is killed, and so are the Germans. The remaining two men and their prisoner continue to the British lines...
