SYNOPSIS

Documentary examining the everyday perils of parenting endured in the Antarctic by emperor penguins, which are completely devoted to protecting their young. They spend several exhausting months keeping the chicks off the deadly ice, shielding them from biting winds and safeguarding them from preying birds and seals.
