SYNOPSIS
Harriet Craig keeps her family, including husband Walter, cousin Clare Raymond and grandmother Lottie, and the timorous servants firmly under her thumb. When Walter is offered a job that will mean more time away, and Clare falls in love with a man Harriet deems unsuitable, she will do anything to maintain the status quo and her reign.
