SYNOPSIS
Adam Clayton of U2 retraces a trip the artist took to Ireland in 1929 with his friend and diarist Eric Allden, revealing a new picture of Bacon's relationship with the land of his birth. The documentary charts a course from Dublin to Kildare, London, Monaco and Renvyle in Galway, to bring Allden's diaries to life.
