Nostalgia

SYNOPSIS

After living in Egypt for many years, Felice Lasco returns to Naples to reunite with his elderly mother, whom he had suddenly left when he was still a child. Back in his hometown, he will get lost among the stones of the houses and churches of the Sanità neighborhood, impregnated with the words of a language that he now perceives as foreign, but which is actually his own. The man seems to be seized by a strange fascination, while the memories of a distant life that he spent with Oreste -his best friend from his childhood- of him, and with whom he shares a secret, resurface inside of him.
When it becomes clear that Naples represents a lost life for him, he will find himself trapped by the invincible force of nostalgia.
