The comedy tells the story of grandmother Bozenka and her suffering. Although she is surrounded by a good family background, she feels unused and unnecessary. She has no responsibilities, her son and daughter-in-law do not burden her with any tasks, even her grandson does not ask for her help - and she would so much like to be useful. Grandma decides to go to her hometown to visit her old friend. She doesn't find her, but her life changes - she meets a young family who seem to need her help.
