TARTALOM ISMERTETő

Cashier Emma Beeskow feels really lonely. Everyone lives a fuller life than she does. There's nothing wrong with her though. On the contrary: She is not only a loyal soul, but also has a dry sense of humor and can even really go for it. The stupid thing is: Unfortunately, others don't recognize this, and she can't get out of herself on her own. Apart from the occasional gossip with neighbor Maggie or rare dinners with daughter Linda and her boyfriend Arne, there is little in her free time. Even on her 51st birthday, the colleagues she fills in for at any time have other plans than celebrating with her. In her desire to find company - maybe even friends - Emma came up with a strange idea: In the supermarket, she swiped customers' wallets in order to later present herself as an honest finder. When the thieves come to her unsuspectingly, a surprise awaits them: Emma has cooked for them. As unconventional as the scam is, it is still not crowned with success, and its method is also dangerous. When she pocketed a businessman's purse, he immediately noticed the theft. But not Emma, but the homeless August is suspected and arrested. Although August observed Emma's theft, he does not betray her. However, the next day, after his release, he proves to be surprisingly clingy. Emma just wants to get rid of the smelly homeless man quickly, but reluctantly takes him in for the night. Freshly washed, August turns out not only to be an aristocratic bon vivant, but also a gifted country singer and dancer. Finally Emma is really boisterous again. Is August the right person to rescue her from her loneliness?
