Kenan and Lissi live fence to fence in a Munich semi-detached house - and yet in different worlds. He is an orderly petty bourgeois who does not tolerate a speck of dust in his house and meticulously dedicates himself to growing roses in the garden. No wonder that she, a bestselling author and bon vivant, has little use for the philistine next door. There is only one thing that connects them both: Lissi is the landlady of Kenan's semi-detached house. When the bank threatened to sell her foreclosure because of outstanding installment payments, it naturally affected him too. The widower definitely doesn't want to move. Kenan, a construction manager by trade, sees only one solution to the common problem: Lissi has to deliver the last part of her romance novel trilogy as quickly as possible. Giving him a happy ending in book form - Lissi doesn't even want to think about that. Ironically, through Kenan, whom his adult children Aysel and Can want to pair off with a Turkish woman, Lissi's petrified emotional world is now moving.
