Dr. Stefan Weber accepts another temporary foreign 'holdiay doctor' posting in Tessin (Ticino, Italian Switserland) while regular compatriot Dr. Anne Schäfer goes visit her ailing mother Elisabeth Gruber. Only at his arrival they realize that reunites schooldays first lovers, now without spouses. Groom Andreas Kerbel is found badly wounded in the mountains, his bride ignoring he didn't bail out.
