The best six chefs from the week battle it out in the last of the quarter-finals. First the judges Monica Galetti and Marcus Wareing ask them to make a pastry dish of their own invention from 10 ingredients including peaches, champagne, pecan nuts and pudding rice. After a double elimination, the remaining four contestants have to cook two courses for food critics Charles Campion, Jay Rayner and William Sitwell, before finding out who is going through to the knockout week.
