Marcus Wareing, Monica Galetti and Gregg Wallace set the five finalists an invention test in which they must create a dish without any meat, fish or poultry, before one is sent home. Each of the remaining four chefs is then put in charge of cooking one course for a dinner attended by 25 leading UK chefs, who hold 40 Michelin stars between them.
