Picnic at Hanging Rock

Dora and Reg perish in a fire, after which charred bodies are found at the rock whilst Sara's corpse is discovered at the school. Hester believes that Arthur, the husband she left behind along with her criminal past in England, has followed her and used the vanishings as his revenge on her but Tomasetti tells her he is dead. Aware that her lies have caught up with her she travels to the rock, where Sara saw the missing pupils partake in a sisterly vow. It does not solve the mystery of the girls who disappeared but adds another death to the tally of the departed.
