Food writer Nigella Lawson shares the origins of some of her ideas, revealing just how and why they came into being, including a bowl of steamed clams with Thai basil inspired by a recent holiday in Thailand. Her toasty olive oil granola was born out of a need to have a satisfying breakfast at the ready, while hunger pangs at the other end of the day led to a dish of griddled halloumi with a sweet chilli sauce.
