„Mord in Genua – Ein Fall für Petra Delicato“ ist eine italienische Miniserie basierend auf einer Romanreihe. Im Mittelpunkt steht die erfolgreiche Anwältin Petra Delicato (Paola Cortellesi), die zur Polizei wechselte. Da sie Sozialkontakte meidet, bevorzugt sie die einsame Arbeit im Archiv. Doch eines Tages muss Petra am Ende ihrer Nachtschicht ein junges Vergewaltigungsopfer vernehmen – und da Personalmangel herrscht, werden die Ermittlungen in diesem Fall an sie und ihren Kollegen Antonio Monte übertragen.
