Three young women on the verge of adolescence and adulthood seem to be forming a friendship based on their shared desire to express their individual style and character. The efforts they make for each other keep their young spirits alive.
Máté, a young director in search of a theme for his graduation film, hits upon a special high-school where misfit teens are given a last chance to finish their studies. Here he meets Szani, Tina and Emese – the school Divas. He decides to document the girls' stories but getting close to the trio of 20-year-olds presents a host of unexpected difficulties. And the more he learns about them, the more he begins to question his most basic assumptions. Are the girls' lives really as easy as they seem? What are they hiding behind their perfect masks? As the Divas open up to the camera, the protective layer their makeup bestows slowly begins to peel away. And as they recognize and share their dreams and fears, a gradual transformation is triggered – not only in the Divas, but in Máté as well.
