Sheldon langweilt sich in der Schule und möchte mehr lernen. Seit einiger Zeit hat er Briefkontakt mit Dr. Sturgis vom College, der ihn zu seiner Vorlesung einlädt. Meemaw begleitet ihn dort hin und macht die Bekanntschaft von Dr. Sturgis, den sie sofort verzaubert. Die beiden beschließen, zusammen essen zu gehen. Sheldon ist davon hellauf begeistert und sieht sie schon vor dem Traualtar.
