The first of the week's dinner parties in Medway, Kent, is hosted by experimental cook and retired grandmother Nina Gaskell. Her guests are barmaid Laura Leibo, police worker Esther Kennedy, mortgage adviser Michael Dodsworth and art graduate Patrick Fysh, and she hopes to impress them with her unusual dishes including a cucumber stuffed with corned beef, and gravy with coconut.
