The USS Nathan James enters choppy waters when the crew faces a formidable new foe, Admiral Ruskov of the Russian Navy. He has Chandler and the crew surrounded at Guantanamo Bay, but is prepared to let them pass if they hand over Scott and the primordial strain of the virus, claiming he has the missing ingredient for the cure. Chandler stands his ground - but then his counterpart points out he has nuclear warheads at his disposal.
