Based on the short stories by G K Chesterton, the popular detective programme returns for a ninth series as the sleuthing cleric solves more crimes in his community. This series features the 100th episode, titled The Red Death. It finds Lady Felicia and her husband Monty hosting a lavish masked ball counting down to 1954, only for their plans to be undone when the Minister of Defence is murdered by a masked figure.
