At the Carmelite convent, Lisieux, the statue of Saint Thérèse suddenly comes to life. This is no miracle but a macabre attempt to conceal a woman's body. The investigation leads Inspector Thomas Renaud and Lieutenant Laurène Leterrier, assisted by Sister Angèle, a Carmelite nun, in the footsteps of Saint Thérèse.
