INHALT

Oliver (C. Winther) i njegov mlađi brat Lasse (T. L. Bjake) vole slušati djedove priče, a jedna od njih je istinita priča o čudovištu. Djed priča kako je u mladosti bio lovac na strašno sjenoliko čudovište Sjenomor. Kad matica-čudovište opsjedne čovjeka on se počne nenormalno ponašati, zaboravi na razum i pristojnost. Svaki opsjednuti želi prenijeti čudovište na druge ljude poljupcem i tako se čudovišta množe. Kada se djed razboli, dječaci u njegovu podrumu otkrivaju hladnjak u kojem je godinama sjenoliko čudovište bilo smrznuto i nepažnjom ga puštaju van...

Film Monsterjægerne snimljen je prema i ideji i s likovima popularne serije romana braće Jacoba i Martina Weinreicha. Redatelj Martin Schmidt autor je srednje generacije, a uz dječje i obiteljske filmove režirao je niz popularnih danskih TV serija. Njegov film Kat (2001) bio nominiran kao najbolji film na međunarodnom festivalu fantastike Fantasporto u Portugalu.
