SINOPSE

In a programme originally broadcast in 1995, the chat show host looks back at his 1973 interview with Orson Welles, the actor, writer and director known for his work on films including Citizen Kane, The Third Man and Touch of Evil. In addition to his screen work, Welles also narrated an infamous 1938 radio adaptation of HG Wells' novel The War of the Worlds, which caused panic in the USA.
