SYNOPSIS

Documentary following the lives of unemployed people on an estate in Scunthorpe, north Lincolnshire, highlighting social issues such as crime, welfare dependency, truancy and addiction. The programme meets 37-year-old Dean, who used to have a job at the steelworks, a shoplifter who sells stolen deodorant at discounted prices, and a teenager excluded from seven different schools.
