Members of the Banbury Intricate Craft Circle Politely Requests Women's Suffrage plan to put their campaign on the map by picketing the post office with placards. However, when a statue of Venus is found vandalised it becomes apparent there are other suffragettes in the area. PC John Thackeray grows concerned about the ladies' intentions and begins to interview each of them in turn.
