SYNOPSIS
A French peasant girl claims to have been inspired by God to drive out the English forces occupying the country and see the rightful king returned to the throne. However, her successful campaign is brought to an end when she is betrayed and accused of witchcraft. Historical drama based on George Bernard Shaw's stage play, starring Jean Seberg, Richard Widmark, Anton Walbrook and John Gielgud.
