SYNOPSIS

An insight into woodlands around the world, from the stunted conifers cloaked in snow and ice in the Arctic forests, to the broadleaf woods in North America and Europe. Also featured are the 100m-high giant redwoods of California, as well as Madagascar's unusual upside-down trees, which store water in their swollen trunks and harbour strange wildlife. Presented by David Attenborough.
