SYNOPSIS

Award-winning architect Jo Cowen, who has worked on projects including the British Museum and the JP Morgan tower at Canary Wharf, is called in to help Croydon couple Denise and Ali breathe new life into their uninspiring council house. She plans a striking glazed extension, and comes up with a further idea for the upstairs that requires an extra £40,000 on top of the not inconsiderable £120,000 budget. But problems begin to appear, pushing the couple to the brink. Last in the series.
