Cheers: Show Down: Part 1

SYNOPSIS

Sam has an inferiority complex with his brother Derek: he's apparently good looking (we the viewer never do see him), is rich, is an international lawyer, owns a Lear jet, has a beautiful rich baritone singing voice, can make trick pool shots, can tap dance, finds Norm a good job and teaches Coach how to speak Spanish. While at the bar, he's the center of attention, except with Sam. All of this Sam can tolerate. The one thing he can't is the fact that Diane is smitten with Derek, and Derek with her - Derek has asked her to go to Martha's Vineyard in his jet - something she doesn't admit to Sam to massage his fragile ego. Even when Sam later tells his date that he wants to focus only on her and the two of them that night, his mind wanders to Diane and Derek when he hears a jet flying overhead.
