SYNOPSIS

Hunt's moral frustrations see him depart for the Holy Land, leaving his sweetheart Annie to work her charms on Fred, who endeavours to keep the girl's lusty appetite in check. However, on his return, Hunt - none the wiser of what has been happening in his absence - asks Annie to marry him. Elsewhere, the newlywed Millais revels in shedding his bachelor status, and a jilted Ruskin turns to Rossetti in his search for a new protege.
