SYNOPSIS
Robert Donat stars in this biopic of ill-fated cinema pioneer William Friese-Greene, who gave up a successful career in photography to follow his dream of developing a camera that would capture moving images. The film was made to celebrate 1951's Festival of Britain, and the all-star cast reads like an A-Z of British acting talent, including Laurence Olivier, Michael Redgrave, Peter Ustinov, Googie Withers and Richard Attenborough.
