SYNOPSIS
Casual single man with daughter meets smart single parents with son - that sounds like a good start. Unfortunately, the omens for Philipp and Frederike are anything but favourable: Both of them don't feel like getting to know each other today. The perfectionist chef is under pressure because she wants to serve up the best spaghetti bolognese of her life during a trial cooking for her dream job that evening. Philipp has to prove himself in his new job as a tourist guide in a difficult group. A plane bomb that paralyzes Cologne's city center means extra stress to the power of three for the two of them. The single parents spontaneously team up: she looks after her seven-year-old son Fritz and his daughter Miriam, who is the same age, in the morning, and he takes care of the children in the afternoon. Unfortunately, there are certain breaks in the spontaneous plan: Frederike cannot go to her apartment because of the lockdown and absolutely has to find a professional kitchen to prepare her food there. For a spontaneous apartment viewing, Philipp needs a pregnant woman at his side in order to get an urgency bonus from the real estate agent. When Frederike steps in, the two do surprisingly well as a couple. And little by little, more than good team spirit is developing between her and Philipp.
