Mia Rosenblom is student of theology at the University of Stockholm and her boyfriend Marcus Nybom is an art historian.In Liljeham the pastor Tore Hasselrot is quite ill and someone must replace him for some weeks.Mia Rosenblom is thinking about this replacement in Liljeham because she discovers that Marcus is betraying her.So Mia decides to travel to Liljeham: on the way she feels lost and asks to a young man the way to the town.The young man was very famous for his art restoration works, but after a tragic accident with his family he lives alone under a another name and has very few contacts with the people of Liljeham.Mia begins then her work as pastor and meets again with Patrick,the young man.She feels attracted by him and Patrick feels well when he is with her.
